Les Deux Alpes finally released their plan for the upcoming summerpark. It looks like they are not about to make any radical changes. Fortunately they don’t need to because last year the park was nearly perfect. They have a shitload of new boxes and rails and pipes in all shapes and sizes, jumps to practise on, jumps to go massive on and pretty much everything you need.
They mainly focussed their improvement on the beginners section. In the practice area, they will build a few more rollers to improve without too much risk. They’ll also have a brand new feature there, but what it will be is a mystery. Also, we will find more wooden trash features to get jibby on.
This all sounds pretty dandy, however rumor has it that the Tignes glacier will not be opened this summer because of the snowconditions. This could mean a massive gathering of the French in Les Deux Alpes. Although we cannot confirm this rumor it still wouldn’t be a bad idea to upgrade the T-bar lift.
The plan usually looks like this but while shaping they take the freedom of making the necessary changes. Soon we will go to check out how things worked out, keep an eye out for that!
