If you visited Snowworld Zoetermeer in last months, chances are that you ran into Joakim. He has spent the last summer in Holland in his tent to shred indoor.
Joakim is from Spain, the part of Spain that doesn’t know any snow or indoor slopes. The love for snowboarding has drivin Joakim to go out and find his own ways to ride his stick. After practising his tricks in the grass of his backyard, he decided to become a globetrotter and explore the winter wonder lands Europe has to offer, all on his own.
He traveled to Norway, Spain and Holland, with to little money to buy skipasses and nothing but his tent to sleep in.
Joakim: “I didnt have money to pay the skipases in the mountais and I was all the year hiking to ride rails and make some small kikers on the summer, It was a bit homeless style and some cold days in my tent but I meet amagazin new friends and some locals riders who I learn alot of they.”
