Holden Preview 10/11
So last friday a stache delegation consisting of me, David and Rens paid a little visit to Toms Wholesale, more specifically the venerable Nik Summers. Nik is the first person to start working for Holden in the Benelux so of course we couldn't be more stoked about that.

"So the Stache is finally in the house." Nik proclaimed when we walked into his showroom. Followed by "You want a beer?" handing us all some tallcans. "Welcome to the Australian way of doing business." I must say we were pretty down with the way they handle their business down south. Right after cracking one open we walked over to the racks stuffed with Holden goodies. Before we tried on our first garment Nik already had another surprise in store for us. "A little something for theStache." he said while handing us over a coffin shaped box which contained a sick Sabre goggle. Damn, that's one tight welcome gift! Check that beast of a goggle.

Thanks again mister Summers!

I decided I needed some male models to make this stuff look good so had my boys post up in front of the Toms Wall with their self chosen outerwear combos. Some are good, some might be questionable, all are next years Holden.

David started off with pretty much his favorite pieces; the Varsity jacket and the LNP signature denim pant.

Next up was Rens with the Motorcycle jacket and the Standard pant (reg fit) in purps which comes in a bunch more colors and retails for a 130 euro! Not bad for 10k waterproofing. Matching the whole set together with the Dylan beanie, which is a real cheap acrylic hat pierced by a safety pin.

David came right back with the Pace jacket and the Anderson pant (my fav).

The Puffy Down jacket in the slick nylon fabric and the BT Cargo pant. Rens going for a douchebag pose here. See what I said about questionable?

The Steadman jacket and Manual pant.

Nik dropped in with a piece he straight copped for himself from the streetwear line. He had me touch the sleeves of this Kingston jacket which looks and feels like embossed leather but is actually nylon. I'm still disturbed by the experience.

Rens staching the Lemmy denim pant and the Steadman jacket in the stone blue colorway. Topping it off with the Nicholson beanie which is lambswool and Angora blend.

The Strummer pant and the top of the line Schoeller FTC 3 Layer jacket. With a name like that and some crazy nanotech this jacket will keep you dry whatever the elements.

Rens getting fresh with the Coaches jacket (fav!) and the Ollie scarf.

A little detail on the shoulder of the Coaches.

Nik showing us the colorways this piece comes in. Rens got his pick right there.

David getting classy with the Drake jacket from the streetwear line.

My favorite Tee in the line: the Night Rainbow tee. I like rainbows, does that make me gay? I don't know I don't care. Artwork by Adam Baz. Maybe inappropriate to post here since this tee has been done by Adam Baz but if you like rainbows like I do you can also check this interview with a man who incorporates these marvels that occur when rain and sun coincide into his art. Click here.

The man ordered us some pizza which we enjoyed healthily with some brews.

Rens being amazed at the possibilities the GoPro camera has to offer. David being serious as usual.

The metal logo tee is one of the fine looking shirts in the line.

Holden brings back the studs with the El Sonnistero Zip hoodie.

Nik about to throw up the horns walking down the main corridor at the warehouse.

He showed us this place is properly secured and told a crazy story about some wackjobs breaking into the place. It happens when there's money to be found. MainStache is impressed.

Where the big money is stacked.

Yes, this place also has a section on smoking periphernalia.

Big up to Nik for hooking it up bigtime with pizzas, beers (apple juice for our designated driver Rens) and a goggle for each of the staches. We had a supergood night and talked about everything from our views on the future to crazy stories about Nik being held captive in a San Diego jail for a night and him standing at Chad's Gap with Candide Thovex stoned as a shrimp about to go a 120K into it switch.

Yes, that's all. We'll be dropping some womens stuff in the time to come once we find a girl up to our standards to try on some of the fine garments Holden has to offer for the ladies. We might post some catalog scans as well, we might...

Sam, Can't really say. Depends on your own size. Since Rens is a straight Large and David is more a medium it's hard to say with only one sample size (L).
